Barnett Shoals Strip Mall with Mama Sid's, Taco Stand (and other businesses) part facelift, part demolished

Believe this project started earlier this week. While part of the building closest to Golden Pantry has been demolished, it looks like maybe the other outlets are getting remodeled? Anyone have the full story here? I'm guessing it's connected to the larger Kroger project.

Does this also mean that the awful looking storage facility behind it might go away (he asks hopefully)?
